Awaken attention using the name “Prionurus Australis” to identify the name of the scorpion species from which the venom is extracted to make the product.

Just by knowing this information, we immediately realize that we are in the presence of a fraud, because to date it is the species Rhopalurus Junceus which has been scientifically proven to have the active ingredient for the production of the Escozul®..

There are no studies demonstrating the antitumor properties of the venom of the scorpion species. “Prionurus Australis”. For this reason, this Colombian company simply attributes to its product effects that are not scientifically supported. Backed by the name Escozul®. to attribute it to a totally different product.

The National Institute for Drug and Food Surveillance (Instituto Nacional de Vigilancia de Medicamentos y Alimentos) (INVIMA)The Colombian pharmaceutical company has issued a statement on this case and has denied the sanitary registration of the drug marketed in this country.

MEDOLIFE CASE

The term endemic is an indicator of exclusivity, in simpler words it means that the species (whether animal or plant) is unique to a particular place. In the case of the Rhopalurus Junceusis a scorpion that only inhabits Cuba, therefore the production of the Escozul®. can only be done from this Caribbean Island

The company Medolife located in the Dominican Republic, manufactures and markets a product under the name “. Escozine” The company claims to use the scorpions from that island to produce “. Escozine”.

When we look at the photos published on their website, we conclude that they do not use the species Rhopalurus Junceus but a variant called Rhopalurus Preceps. So far, there are no studies that support the venom of the latter species in therapies for the treatment of cancer.

In the following, we will detail some characteristics of the “Escozine The “Cuban origin product” is not a product of Cuban origin.

Medolifeclaims that its product takes effect within a month, however, the experience accumulated over the years tells us otherwise. The effects with Escozul®. are gradual, the antitumor effect starts to be noticed between 45 days after starting the treatment and 3 months later.

According to the manufacturers of the “Escozine“The product can be stored for up to 12 months without refrigeration. For its part, the Escozul®., cannot lose the cold chain.

Representatives of Medolife claim to have their own “Blue Scorpion” farms in the Dominican Republic, something impossible because as we have mentioned on previous occasions, this species only inhabits Cuba.

On the website of Medolife promote the properties of Escozine awarding the Scientific Research that have been carried out with Escozul®. which is an obvious plagiarism.

To conclude, Escozine is made using another species of scorpion called the Rhopalurus Precepsof which there is not a single scientific study that demonstrates its antitumor properties. The studies that the company Medolife is attributed are those made on the basis of the Blue scorpion venom (Rhopalurus Junceus), endemic to Cuba.

Medolife is evidently a scam since it is promoting a product for which there is no scientific evidence that it can be used inoncology patients.

Fraud 3.

ESCOZUL® Vs. VIDATOX.

From its discovery in the 1980s to the present day, the Escozul®., has had several phases. First the Cuban biologist Misael Bordier In the early 1990s, he began experimenting on mice and dogs where he saw a significant reduction in the malignant tumors. Later in the 1990s it began to be used in people, becoming more and more popular.

As a result of the popularity gained by the Blue Scorpion Venom , the LABIOFAM Business Group decided to initiate its study and to use it as a therapeutic resource, providing free of charge the Escozul®. patients with cancer.

For 15 years, LABIOFAM has been dedicated to researching the properties of the Blue Scorpion Venom (Escozul®.).
